This beautiful piece of jewelry was originally found in Tissø in West Zealand, and possibly depicts the goddess Freja.
Freja is one of the central figures in Norse mythology, and she is associated with birth, death, and love. Many discoveries of Freja and her brother Frej have been made all over Denmark.
This pendant is 30mm high and 21mm wide. The hole for the chain is approximately 2mm in size, and all chains of 2mm and smaller fit this pendant.
