General Trading Terms

Payment

You can choose between 2 different payment methods:
1. Dankort, Mastercard & Visa Electron

To avoid theft and other security risks, card payments are processed through a 3rd party gateway.
This allows you to securely and easily pay with a card without us ever having your information in our hands.
This is the safest and easiest way to pay.
2. Mobile Pay.

Payment has never been easier (and safer) We of course accept Mobile Pay. This is very simply selected after placing your order.

We do not charge card fees.

The amount will be charged to your card only when the item is shipped. 

Reservation of amount

If you pay with an international credit card, the amount is reserved immediately. The money is reserved on your card or account until:
1) We charge the amount when we ship the item, or
2) The funds will be released according to the agreement with your card issuer. 

You can read more about the rules for your specific card with your card issuer.

We ship the same day or the next business day with GLS, so you will receive it 1-3 days after we have shipped!

In November and December, we have extended the return policy, so all orders purchased in November and December can be returned all the way until January 14th! - So you can safely buy the Christmas gift!

For the rest of the year, we have a 30-day full return policy. If the jewelry is not as expected, simply return it and get your money back.

Beer, Wine, and Spirits may only be sold to persons over 18 years old

Shipping

We ship all our products with GLS. You can choose between 3 different shipping methods:

    - To parcel box/Post office (This is free for our horns and jewelry, but not for Mead and books)
    - Directly to your door with Track and Trace


We ship to Denmark, as well as most countries in Europe. We also ship to the Faroe Islands and Greenland.

Orders to countries outside the EU may be subject to customs duties and VAT according to the country's regulations.

Normally, you will receive the items within 1-3 days (3-6 days for international orders) after we have recorded your order. If you are not home, the package can subsequently be picked up at the post office.

Right of Withdrawal

In November and December, we have extended the return policy, so all orders purchased in November and December can be returned all the way until January 14th! - So you can safely buy the Christmas gift!

For the rest of the year, you as a consumer have a 30-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us.

The cancellation period expires 30 days after the day you received your item. If you have ordered several different items in one order, but they are delivered individually, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

The deadline means that you have 30 days from receipt to inform us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You can send an email to Info@Ydale.dk or use the standard cancellation form, which you can find at the bottom of the terms and conditions.

You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to accept the item without also notifying us.

Cancellation of part of the purchase

If you have purchased multiple items from us, you have the option to return one or more items, even if they were bought in a single order.

Please note that you will not receive the shipping costs back if you cancel part of your purchase.

The following items are excluded from the right of withdrawal:
Delivery of goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire quickly,

Returns

Once you have informed us that you wish to cancel your purchase, you have 30 days to return the item to us.

You are responsible for paying for the return of the package, and you are liable if any damage occurs during transport.

No right of withdrawal
These agreements cannot be canceled:

Delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, and where the seal has been broken after delivery.

Items that are tailored to your specifications or have received a personal touch.

The condition of the item when you return it

If the item has lost value due to your use of it in a way that was not necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item, you may only receive a partial refund of the purchase price. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the item, and in certain cases, it may mean that you can only get the shipping costs refunded. We recommend that you return the item in its original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may result in a depreciation of the item.

Refund of the purchase amount

In November and December, we have extended the return policy, so all orders purchased in November and December can be returned all the way until January 14th! - So you can safely buy the Christmas gift!

If you regret your purchase, you will get your money back. If the item has depreciated in value, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.

We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (however, this does not apply to additional delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery option we offer), no later than 30 days from the day we receive your notification that you wish to cancel the agreement.

We will refund the money using the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise.

We can withhold payment until we have received the item, unless you provide us with documentation that you have returned it.

Right of complaint

When you shop with us as a consumer, the rules of the Sale of Goods Act apply to purchases.
This means that you have a warranty period of 24 months.

If your complaint is justified, it means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, receive a refund, or get a discount on the price, depending on the specific situation.

You must make a complaint within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect. If you complain within two months after discovering the defect, the complaint will always be considered timely.

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be returned in secure packaging. Remember to get a receipt for shipping, so we can reimburse your shipping costs.

Privacy Policy

We need the following information when you shop with us:

Name, address, phone number, and email address.

We collect and share the personal information that is necessary to deliver the product to you.
What do we share with others:

Your personal data is used as follows:

- From us, to pack your order

- From pakkelabels.dk, to create shipping labels, so your order arrives at your doorstep

- By Epay, for secure management of your payment information

We only collaborate with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide adequate protection for your information.

The personal information is registered with Ydale.dk and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted.

We also collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. The companies only process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

The data controller at ydale.dk is Jesper S. Bendix.

You have the right to be informed about what information we process about you.
If you believe that the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we are obligated to delete your personal data if you request it. This may be the case if your data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which we were using it. Complaint access

If you as a consumer wish to complain about your purchase, you should contact us by email: info@ydale.dk If we are unable to find a solution, you can send a complaint to:

To file a complaint, the item or service you wish to complain about must have cost at least 1,110 DKK and no more than 100,000 DKK. However, for complaints about clothing and shoes, the price must have been at least 720 DKK. There is a fee to have the complaint processed.

 If you reside in another EU country other than Denmark, you can file a complaint with the EU Commission's online complaint portal here - http://ec.europa.eu/odr
