This piece of jewelry recreates a pattern found on genuine Viking artifacts from Aalborg. The style seen on these artifacts is known as the Borre style.
The Borre style is a well-known style from the Viking Age and includes, among other things, this woven pattern called ring chains. This pattern was found at Bejsebakken in Aalborg and is repeated on other jewelry found in the Aalborg area.
The clasp on this bracelet is approximately 13mm in diameter.
