Mead from Mjødgård - Elderflower Mead at 15%
The familiar summer scent of elderflower, and a rich, full flavor.
The aftertaste is long, with a solid base of light bitterness.
The sweetness is on the lower end. Served chilled as an aperitif or steaming hot from small mugs. Enjoy the elderflower mead cold with, for example, vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate.
This is the brewer's choice when it comes to offering a welcome aperitif, a cold drink in the summer heat, or as a substitute for Christmas mulled wine.
Ingredients: Water, Danish honey, elderflower, yeast. Approx. 15% alcohol
