Viking brooch of the famous gold horns, made of genuine 925s Sterling Silver!
Of course, one of the best-known finds of the Viking Age is the golden horns, which in 1802 suffered the terrible fate of being stolen and remelted. Fortunately, elaborate drawings of the horns had been made, and copies were later made which can still be seen at the National Museum in Copenhagen.
The golden horns were found in Gallehus by Møgeltønder.
This brooch is 59mm long and 19mm high.
