Here is a pendant that really stands out from most. The perfect glass ball sits in a beautiful bronze socket decorated with beautiful patterns that create a beautiful contrast to the shiny glass.

The pendant here is a copy of a real find! The original comes from a silver hoard from Gotland that has been dated to the Viking Age. It is believed that these pieces of jewelry were not only used as decoration, but that the balls, which were made of crystal, may have functioned as magnifying glasses.
