Beautiful Celtic ship pendant in bronze!
This beautiful pendant is designed based on a genuine find!
The original piece of jewelry is a hanging pin found in Hallstatt, Austria, and is on display at the British Museum in London. The piece of jewelry depicts a beautifully decorated ship with oars hanging down from the ship itself.
The Celts had many different settlements during the Celtic period, but Hallstatt was the oldest, and more than 1000 graves have been found here. The Hallstatt culture is believed to have lasted from 800-500 BCE.
The Celts, like the Vikings, were skilled warriors, but primarily traders and farmers. They made their own tools and weapons and produced metal jewelry, such as the one that inspired this beautiful and historic pendant.
The pendant is 28 x 13 mm and is made of bronze.
