This ring is clearly inspired by the forest and nature. Eryn means forest in Elvish, and it is clear that the name was chosen because of Jesper's primary source of inspiration; the nature.

For this ring we have chosen a hematite, which is a beautiful and unique gemstone known for its metallic luster and deep, dark color. Hematite has a characteristic gray-black color that can vary from dark to lighter shades, depending on how the light falls on the stone.
