The Norwegian Lagertha is a brave shield maiden and warrior known from the sagas. She is said to have married Ragnar Lothbrok, who is a Danish Viking and legendary king. Together they defeated King Frø of Sweden who invaded Norway in the year 900. Lagertha continued her warlike exploits for the rest of her life in the Gaula valley in Norway.
This beautiful necklace is in honor of Lagertha and her many achievements. The classic and simple motif stands out beautifully in the thin, black veneer wood, and the necklace will suit anyone who is interested in Viking history.
The pendant has a diameter of 5cm, and the chain itself is available in 25cm with a lock or 37cm without a lock.
