Dolcevit is a unique creation from Mjødgård, inspired by the beauty and sustainability of nature. It all began with the flowers and bees that created the most delicious honey, which Mjødgård uses as one of the key ingredients in their exclusive mead production.
Mjødgård deeply values nature and has therefore chosen to collaborate with local beekeepers and use only the highest quality and sustainable raw materials. To reduce waste, they have entered into a partnership with 'Radius Distillery' in Præstø. Together, they distill the surplus mead into a luxurious spirit, which is matured in oak barrels for three years before being bottled.
Each bottle of Dolcevit is a unique work of art in itself, hand-numbered and equipped with a label made of cherry wood. This special detail adds an extra dimension of exclusivity and personality to the product. No two labels are the same, making each bottle as unique as a person's fingerprint.
The name Dolcevit is a tribute to the warmth and beauty of nature, inspired by the Icelandic volcano 'Katla', which symbolizes the earth's internal heat spewing out through volcanoes. Mjødgård hopes that everyone will embrace the name and enjoy the unique result of their passion for sustainability and quality.
