This ring combines modern design with historical roots and authenticity!
The ring here is a copy of a find from Gaardsted in Hjørring. The original is made of gold and dates from the Roman Iron Age (approx. 0-400 AD). This copy is made of silver instead, but retains the fantastic design.
The ring stands out from most other rings from this period as it is neither engraved nor shaped after any motif. The simple expression is very similar to modern jewellery, and this deviation can possibly be explained by the ring either being unfinished or serving a purpose other than jewellery.
Whatever the reason, this is a stunningly beautiful piece of jewelry with beautiful shapes and rich history.
