Brooch with twisted Viking pattern made of genuine 925s Sterling Silver
This brooch is inspired by similar symbols found, among other things, at churches throughout Denmark.
The magical number 3 was significant to both the Vikings (the 3 worlds of Asgard, Midgard and Utgard) and Christians (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Therefore, triangular knots, such as this one, took on great significance during the transition period from Norse mythology to Christianity.
This beautiful winding pattern symbolizes life and the eternal universe, and from a historical perspective it means unification and development.
