Petroglyphs are motifs drawn on rock surfaces, and most Danish petroglyphs have been found on Bornholm. It is believed that these motifs had great cultural and religious significance, and they may have been used to communicate with the gods.
Original drawings can be seen at the Tanum Petroglyphs Museum in Sweden.
