This piece of jewelry is a replica of an authentic Viking piece found in a woman's grave at Lillevang on Bornholm. It is believed that the original piece is from around the year 750, which is either before the Vikings or the very early Viking Age. The original piece is exhibited at the National Museum.
Viking ships are some of the most iconic elements of the Viking Age, as they were the Vikings' way to travel to other countries and plunder, clearly representing the strength of the Vikings!
