Old Danish Mead:

A fantastic sharp and delicious Traditional Mead from Dansk Mjød at 19%

This mead contains honey, water, and ginger and is based on a Danish recipe from the 18th century.

The mead has a lovely spiced flavor that can remind one a bit of sherry.

Mead can be used as both a welcome drink and a dessert wine. There may be sediment in the mead, as no additives are used.

Jydemjød:

A delicious Jydemjød from Dansk Mjød with a full 20.6%

This mead contains honey added to hops. In addition, Riga Balzam is added, which increases the alcohol percentage to 20.6. Riga Balzam is itself a lovely bitter at 45.0%, which is very spicy.

When mixed with mead, the result is a lovely semi-bitter, spiced mead.

Mead should be drunk as one would a bitter.

Sediment may occur as no additives are used.

Klapøjster Mead:

This mead contains honey, water, and spices. Additionally, spirits are added, which increases the alcohol percentage to 21.8%.

It is an old tradition to mix mead and spirits – it creates a lovely, sweet mead with an aftertaste of schnapps.

Great for the cheese board or for the lunch table. You can dilute the mead a bit if it is too strong. Sediment may occur, as no additives are used.

Viking Blood Mead:

Mead Viking Blood 19.0%

This mead contains honey added with hops and hibiscus, water, and spices. It has a flavor that is spiced like Madeira.

It is particularly suitable as a welcome drink and dessert wine, but it can also be used as a marinade. Sediment may occur, as no additives are used.
