This mead contains honey, water and spices. In addition, spirits are added which increase the alcohol percentage to 21.8%.
It is an old custom to mix mead and spirits - it gives a lovely sweet mead with an aftertaste of snaps.
Good for the cheese table or for the lunch table, you can dilute the meal a little if it is too strong. Precipitates may occur as no additives are used.
