This beautiful pendant is designed based on a genuine find! That
original piece of jewelery is a Celtic pendant found in Hallstatt in Austria and on display at the British Museum in London. The piece clearly depicts a ship with oars hanging down from the ship itself.
The Celts had many different settlements during the Celtic period, but Hallstatt was one of the largest, and more than 1000 graves have been found here. The Hallstatt culture is believed to have lasted from 800-500 BCE, while the entire Celtic period lasted approx. 6000-0 BCE In comparison, the Viking Age lasted approx. 800-1066 possibly
