Mjødgård has made a super exciting series of mead - Kongemjød

The series consists of 3 mead varieties: Gorm, Sven and Harald. All 3 are named after Danish Viking kings. Each Kongemjød comes with a 10-page booklet about the Viking kings, the mead and the considerations Mjødgård has made regarding the flavors that belong to each mead.

Sven Forkbeard:

Sven's mead is a solid mead brewed with the Scandinavian meadowsweet. Blackberries give the mead a sourness that gives the impression of a dry mead with a fresh fruity flavor. The meadowsweet stands out well in the mead and gives the spicy aftertaste that lingers in the mouth.

A mead that stands solidly with your cheese board or a sweet dessert. Sven's mead is good to share at various pagan festivals.

Ingredients: Water, Danish honey, sloe, meadowsweet, oak and yeast. Contains sulfite.
Store in a dark place.
