Mead from Mjødgård - King's Mead - Gorm the Old at 15%
The series consists of 3 mead varieties: Gorm, Sven and Harald. All 3 are named after Danish Viking kings. Each Kongemjød comes with a 10-page booklet about the Viking kings, the mead, and the considerations Mjødgård has made regarding the flavors that belong to each mead.

Gorm the Old Man's Mead is a sweet mead that has a full-bodied taste with a lovely fruity apple aroma. The apples add a tartness to the mead and create a nice balance to the strong late summer honey. The angelica plant gives a slightly spicy aftertaste that sticks to the palate.
