The winter mead is brewed with rose hips picked along the shoreline. The winter mead is aged in oak barrels. It has a distinct port wine aroma, is slightly sharp in the aftertaste, and is dark and deep in color.
Enjoy the Winter Mead chilled with the sweet treats of Christmas or as a cozy drink during the dark moments when we wait for the big wheel to turn.
Every year, the brewer looks forward to tasting this year's winter mead. It always has a special character and a personal expression due to the unique aging the mead undergoes. It's like getting a head start on the joys of Christmas when we release this brew every year on November 1st.
