The signpost is first mentioned in the Icelandic Huld manuscript, written by Geir Vigfússon in 1860. The signpost rune is therefore not part of the Viking Age, but a symbol often associated with Vikings.
This rune has a diameter of 1.8cm. The hole for the chain is 3mm wide, so all chains 3mm or smaller will fit this pendant!
