Beautiful brooch with a Viking ship, made of bronze.
This piece of jewelry is a replica of an authentic Viking ornament found in a woman's grave at Lillevang in Bornholm. It is believed that the original piece dates back to around the year 750, which is either before the Vikings or the very early Viking Age. The original piece is displayed at the National Museum.
Viking ships are among the most iconic symbols of the Viking Age, as they were the Vikings' means of traveling to other countries to raid and clearly represented the strength of the Vikings!
