The famous gold horn made of bronze for necklace with leather cord.
One of the most famous finds from the Viking Age is, of course, the golden horns, which in 1802 suffered the terrible fate of being stolen and remelted. Fortunately, detailed drawings of the horns had been made, and copies have later been made, which can still be seen at the National Museum in Copenhagen.
The golden horns were found in Gallehus by Møgeltønder.
The golden horn is 5.5 cm long and 0.9 cm wide at the widest end. The leather cord is included and is 50cm long.
