Beautiful and significant bronze amulet!
This beautiful amulet is a copy of an authentic find from Birkende on East Funen, which is dated to the Younger Germanic Iron Age, approx. 600-750 AD This means that the original piece of jewelery is probably older than the Viking Age.
The brooch is decorated with knots and patterns that form the motif of an owl, symbolizing wisdom.
The brooch is 38 x 26 mm and is made of bronze.
