Beautiful and symbolic pendant in genuine silver!
The piece of jewellery here is a copy of a genuine find, which gives the pendant both history and authenticity. The original is from a grave find from Glastonbury in England and is believed to possibly date from the Bronze Age (c. 3000-500 BCE). Glastonbury is often associated with the legend of King Arthur, as some believe that the area now called Glastonbury is the legendary Avalon. The area has been considered sacred by many different peoples, and Glastonbury is still to this day a gathering place for both Druids and other branches of paganism.
The hilt of the sword is decorated with two raven heads, and down the blade itself are the names Frey and Freya written in runic script. Frey and Freya are gods and siblings according to Norse mythology, and they represent crops, agriculture, prosperity and fertility.
The sword can be worn as an amulet for success and progress or simply as a beautiful and authentic piece of jewelry.
The pendant is 71 x 15 mm and is made of genuine 925s silver.
