The Odal rune, also known as the troll cross, is widely known from Scandinavian folklore. The troll cross protected travelers from trolls and other dangers.
It is believed that the troll cross has been worn by pregnant mothers as an amulet for personal protection against illness, witchcraft and other evil magic, but the troll cross has also been hung over front doors, stable doors and windows to protect the entire family and livestock.
The pendant is 28 x 19 mm and is made of genuine silver.
