Brooch knot Needle Silver

Twisted viking pattern brooch made of genuine 925s Sterling Silver

This brooch is inspired by similar symbols found, among other things, at churches throughout Denmark.

The magical number 3 had significance for both the Vikings (the 3 worlds Asgård, Midgård and Udgård) and Christians (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Therefore, triangular knots, such as this one, gained great importance in the transition period from Norse mythology to Christianity.

This beautiful twisted pattern thus symbolizes life and the eternal universe, and from a historical perspective it means union and development.

The brooch is approx. 2.5mm high and 1.5 wide.
