Beautiful cross with Jesus figure in pagan iconography. Made of genuine 925 Sterling silver.
The Vikings converted to Christianity when the crusade started. The Vikings were divided to a great extent between those who wanted to continue the pagan traditions and those who accepted the new religion.
This cross draws inspiration from real finds made at Hågerup, Selsø and Bjerre Banke. These originals are now on display at the National Museum.
This cross is 3cm high and 2.8cm wide. The hole the chain must go through is 3mm large and all chains of 3mm and smaller fit this piece of jewellery.
